Frozen Half Shell Oyster
The Pacific Oyster, (called the Crassostrea gigas), which we offer, was first found along the Pacific Coast of Asia, including Japan, but have since been transplanted to other countries such as North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. It has become an important commercial harvest and is available all year round. Our half shell oysters are flash frozen and kept fresh at -18ºC.
Packed with protein and minerals, our half shell oysters have a naturally sweet flavor and are succulent and juicy. They are perfect for baking, grilling, steaming, smoked, fried or roasted.
